Dear Workstream member,

Many of us will be now thinking about winding down for the holiday season although if, like me, the holiday period tends to be a time when you can catch up or get round to meeting those commitments you promised a few weeks ago. So just to add to your list of things that needs to be done now or during the break, can I remind you that NHS Digital has now launched the Obligations Framework and the compliance registration process is now open.

Many of you have now registered (expressed an interest in using the following email address compliance.HSCN@NHS.net) or have gone on to the NHS Digital web site direct and started with Phase One of the compliance process. For those that are not sure what they need to comply with and or at what level they should apply initially, Innopsis will be running additional compliance workshops for members and non members alike in January. Look out for those details on the Innopsis web site. I attended the first workshop in London and many good questions were asked, and good experiences shared.

On January 10th (PM) NHS Digital are planning to convene (subject to confirmation) a meeting with all suppliers in London who have registered or have commenced work on the HSCN compliance process. The meeting will discuss NHS Digital’s proposed procurement plans and timescales, with the opportunity for you to offer feedback and to ask relevant questions. Invites will be sent out in the first week of January so in the meantime please reserve this date.

NHS Digital and Innopsis are keen to encourage as many suppliers as possible to participate in the HSCN market opportunity and we are here to help you, please do reach out if you have any questions or are not sure about any of the published documents I can be contacted at michael.bowyer@innopsis.org. In the meantime on behalf of the Innopsis HSCN team may I take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
