Dear Work Stream Contributor

In the Technical and Security work stream today we discussed HSCIC requirements for connectivity performance the as detailed in TOPS 9 to TOPS 14 and attached here [download id=”5255″]. The requirements have been published for some time but as yet industry has not offered any comments on the technical, service and commercial implications or has offered any alternative proposals.

The network performance standards originated from the PSN but it is accepted many of those standards came from the GCN design, and may not reflect the most cost effective solution for the wide HSCN user community. On Thursday the 4th August HSCIC would like to debate industry views on the proposed standards. As I believe this has wider implications it would be useful if you could share within your organisation and provide your feedback prior to the meeting with alternative recommendations by Wednesday 3rd August. Your feedback should be sent to;
